Do I need writing
DWW welcomes all levels of writing experience and all genres (fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and hybrid or mixed forms). All you need to bring is a willingness to put words on the page and share your writing with an encouraging group of peers.
How do I enroll?
Please complete the enrollment form on the Classes page, so we can learn a little more about you. We will contact you via email to confirm your enrollment. If you are already a DWW writer, there is space on the form to indicate this.
How do you accept payment?
We request payment in full when you register via Venmo, Zelle, credit card, bank transfer (ACH) or check, unless otherwise indicated. Once you submit an enrollment form, Andrea or Janine will forward details for payment and confirm your spot in the class or workshop once payment is received.
Cancellations and Refunds?
If you find that you can’t take a class after you have registered, contact your instructor as soon as possible. Cancellations made up to one week prior to the start of the session are fully refundable less a $25 service fee. Because we keep our classes small and affordable, we can’t offer refunds less than one week before or after a class has started. If a class doesn't reach its minimum enrollment, and we must cancel, all students will receive full refunds.
What if I can’t make it to one of the classes in a session?
If you do have to miss a class, which happens, your instructor will provide you with any class materials that are distributed (readings, craft notes). Again, because we keep our classes small, we can’t prorate for a missed class.
What about Privacy?
We will not sell, loan, or give away your contact and registration information to anyone else, or use it for anything other than communication regarding Diablo Writers’ Workshop classes and related events.
